In
January 2006, Scintec opens its new North American headquarter in Atlanta
Alpharetta, Georgia. "More space for sales and services together
with Atlanta's excellent air travel and transportation connections will
allow for shorter delivery times of products and quicker responses with
all services" says Todd Reed, President of Scintec Corporation.
A radio-acoustic profiler system Scintec AP1000 has been installed at Frankfurt Airport and is operated by the Germain Air Traffic Control (DFS). The system supplies continuous wind and temperature profiles up to 1,500 m height. Using a new RASS technique, the AP Series Profilers achieve a spatial resolution, a temporal resolution and a data availability which by far exceed those of any other radar wind profiler. Also, the systems are immune against clutter from airplanes, birds or precipitation. For more information see our remote sensing page or contact us. |
