The Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT) has acquired a new LAP®3000 Radar Wind Profiler with RASS for its Mae Moh Power Plant near Lampang. The systems now monitors vertical wind and temperature profiles as the main parameters to affect transport and turbulent diffusion of atmospheric constituents as part of the operator's air quality commitment. "The wind data is very important for our power plant operation. So we have searched for the wind monitoring technology from around the world. Thank you, Scintec, your radar sysem helps us to work easily and your after sales service makes us complacent." says Mr. Nuttapon, operator at Mae Moh Power Plant, EGAT.
