The new SLS Series Scintillometers are inherently eye safe (safety class 1 according to 21 CFR Part 1040 and IEC 60825). This is indicated by the letters ES in the model designations. So, the models SLS20 ES, SLS20-A ES, SLS40 ES and SLS40-A ES, as well as the traditionally eye-safe BLS Series Scintillometers BLS450, BLS900 and BLS2000, all allow for a comfortable and worry-free measurement experience.
