Indian Air Force and Indian Navy use LAP8000 Radar Wind Profilers
After the Indian Navy had modernized their meteorological infrastructure with Scintec LAP®8000 Radar Wind Profilers at each of nine Naval Air Stations, the Indian Air Force has now acquired a Scintec LAP®8000 Radar Wind Profiler to support Aerostat based sensing in Barnala in the state of Punjab. Scintec LAP®8000 Radar Wind already have a proven record of use at seven tethered aerostat stations operated by Homeland Security in the United States.
